Experience Designer

As UX designers, we all talk about wanting our work to have an impact. At Pega, yours will be on a global scale, solving a variety of problems in real-time while helping household names gain a better understanding of themselves and their customers. As a Senior Experience Designer, you will engage with empathy, focusing on shaping applications that get to the heart of an end users needs at each stage of their journey. You will work closely with users, stakeholders, analysts, Design Leads, and other delivery team members to drive better customer outcomes, ensuring solutions are both lovable and efficient.

What You'll Do At Pega

• Conduct research to understand usersobjectives, obstacles, needs, frustrations, and motivations and translate those findings to relevant insights
• You'll be working within the features/functionality of the Pega platform and design system. Many designers arent comfortable with doing that (they wish freedom to design the most ideal bespoke solution to every problem)
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, Design Leads and delivery team members to define the experience through divergent convergent design exercises
• Design and optimize user interactions, navigational structures, data, forms, workflows, etc.
• Use and extend Pegas enterprise design system, Cosmos
• Provide day-to-day design support throughout the Agile development process, including ideation, elaboration, refinement and playbacks
• Organize and run user usability testing throughout development, drawing insights from results and keeping the users voice alive through the entire process

• Turning end-to-end IoT data stream insights into carefully orchestrated actions across business and system silos
• Utilizing real-time AI capabilities to provide relevant content for every customer interaction
• Employing robotic automation and intelligence to simplify the employee experience and cover manual tasks that impede productivity
• Providing workforce intelligence to give clients insights into how work gets done, noting what systems and processes are getting in the way

• You have experience in User Experience, Interaction Designer, and Information Architecture

• You are a lifelong learner, seeking the latest information both in design tools, methods and product information

What You've Accomplished

• You have 5 to 10 years of experience in UX Product design, service design, experience design, information systems, or another related field
• You have engaged in consulting (Go-to-Market) and acting as an experience advocate for internal and/or client-facing teams
• You have an appreciation of front-end UI technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
