The Peer-Review Assistant is involved in every aspect of the editorial process, such as from screening submissions, to prepare the manuscripts for Peer-Review, to deal with authors, reviewers and Editors for rapid completion of Peer-Review process.
Job duties:
As a Peer-Review Assistant, you need to:
i. Maintain a database of all the active editors and reviewers. ii. Selecting and contacting the editors for reviewing an article iii. Checking the quality and Plagiarism for the submitted article. iv. Updating the authors time to time regarding status of the article. v. Sending the reviewer comments to authors and coordinating responses to review from the authors vi. Advising the authors regarding process-related queries vii. Forwarding the revised article to web/finance department for further process viii. Act as a liaison between authors, editors/reviewers and other departments ix. Ensure the article publishes on time and adheres to the expected standards and schedule.
