Sr./Lead Instructional Designer

A reputed eLearning company based in India, is looking for an Instructional Designer.

• Location is not a constraint. They can work from home.
• They can be based out of their current location.
• Work hours will be 9-5 IST, Monday to Friday.
• Should possess their own laptop or desktop.

Experience

• 3 to 12 years in writing instructional content and building and designing eLearning programs.
  CTC
• Depending on the experience.

Qualification

• Basic graduation is a must.
• An English major would be desirable although not essential for the right candidate.
• Masters in Design or Instructional Design/Technology would be desirable.

Required Skillset

• Strong skills in written and spoken English.
• Understand the products, services and technologies involved in the eLearning industry.

Desired Skills:

• Possesses exceptional writing skills and extensive experience in content creation, with a strong command of the English language.
• Demonstrates the ability to produce explicit, concise, and engaging content from provided outlines, employing appropriate vocabulary and inclusive language to cater to a diverse audience.
• Demonstrated experience in the K-12 educational domain, particularly with U.S. clients, showcasing an understanding of this sector's unique requirements and standards.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with e-learning authoring tools, such as Articulate, to develop interactive and practical learning materials.
• Self-motivated with a keen willingness to acquire new skills and processes,ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and innovations in educational design are continually embraced.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough needs analyses and learner analyses to inform the design of effective and inclusive learning materials.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into instructional materials, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current academic standards and pedagogical strategies.
• Utilizes readability tests and guidelines to ensure all instructional materials are accessible and meet high standards of understanding and engagement.
• Design assessments that accurately measure learner outcomes and provide meaningful feedback to learners and educators.
• Proficient in applying Bloom's Taxonomy to develop educational objectives and design assessments that effectively measure a wide range of cognitive skills, from basic recall of information to complex analysis and creative problem-solving.
• Integrate instructional materials into Learning Management Systems (LMS),
• ensuring functionality across different platforms.
• stay abreast of trends and developments in instructional design, educational technology, and the U.S. education landscape to inform best practices and innovative approaches.
