Job Description
- Manage data within Pearsons Global Application (Oracle) platform.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with geographical rules (e.g., UK, US, Canada, Australia, Asia).
- Follow up rigorously with business teams to manage data processes.
- Highlight recurring data inaccuracies and bring them to managements attention.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, managers, and peers to resolve issues.
- Learn and adapt processes to meet specific information requests.
- Document and communicate needed actions to management, identifying and addressing irregularities.
- Experience in data operations (preferably with Oracle).
- Proficiency in MS Office/MS Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
- Essential: Post-graduate degree in any discipline or a professional qualification.
- Desirable: Experience managing business systems and portals.
- Essential: 2-3 years of experience in data management.
- Desirable: Experience in a publishing company.
- Collaborative team player with a flexible attitude.
- Strong personnel management skills with an understanding of business processes.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones and adapt to international teams.
- Confident, enthusiastic, and results-driven.
- Ability to embrace new ways of working and adapt to changes.
