Sr. Product Manager 1 - Technical

About the Role: Senior Product Manager, Business Data Products Solutions - responsible for building and optimizing compliance regulatory platform that supports various business-critical applications.

In this role, you will get an opportunity to define, orchestrate, envision and enable critical and sensitive data initiatives in support of multiple organisation roadmaps and business units across regions at PayPal on behalf of Compliance Investigation Platform. You will work with business stakeholders and product development partners to understand and define business use cases and opportunities in various streams. The role will require you to understand what the key business drivers are, identify opportunities with potential to leverage internal, external, and innovative data/analytics, iterate quickly through proof-of-concepts to define the solutions, and work with delivery teams to deliver platform-based solutions that delight users. This role offers regular visibility to senior management and the opportunity to substantially influence PayPal s business.

• Be an independent thinker to understand the needs of our customers, regulators, auditors and develop a practical path in achieving the regulatory reporting goals.
• Collaborate with senior management, stakeholders and partnering teams to create product plans and roadmaps that helps in building and implementing product strategies consistent with company vision.
• Retrieve and analyse feedback from customers stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements features and end products

• You help define the product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for Compliance Investigation platform, evaluate the competitive landscape, and stay informed of the latest trends
• Be the voice of the customers needs by spending time with customers, user research teams, and partnering teams to synthesize their feedback and trends
• You will manage multiple priorities with clear and measurable goals and communicate product plans, benefits, and results to all audiences, including PayPal senior leadership
• Define key metrics and lead the execution of initiatives to improve those key metrics over time
• Use A/B testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive product decisions and requirements
• Engage closely with engineering and architecture to help determine the best technical implementation and design while balancing time-to-market needs
• You partner closely with cross-functional teams at PayPal to design, build, and launch experiences across solutions; including Legal, Privacy, and Risk teams, to ensure the products we deliver are within regulatory boundaries

• Six years of experience in Product Management at technology companies preferably, and familiarity with FinTech products and concepts

• Experience designing and building consumer web apps with deep attention to detail and passion for creating customer back- office experiences
• Experience building a product roadmap with ability to analyze, quantify, and articulate trade-offs of product roadmap features

• Outstanding analytical skills, specifically in using funnel tracking and BI tools to drill down on insights and create solutions to data-driven hypotheses

• History of leading and executing in fast-paced, high-growth, ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders and dependent teams to deliver exceptional business impact
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise communication with senior leaders and project partners
