Shopify Website Manager

Job Overview

We seek a highly skilled Shopify Website Manager responsible for managing and optimizing the entire Shopify store, including front-end development, back-end management, UI/UX design, product listings, performance enhancements, and Shopify theme customization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Shopify Liquid development, store operations, technical troubleshooting, and UX/UI design to ensure a high-performing e-commerce website.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shopify Store Development & Back-End Management

Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Implement custom features, product filters, checkout enhancements, and navigation improvements.

Integrate and manage Shopify apps, APIs, and third-party tools to enhance store functionality.

Set up and manage payment gateways, tax settings, shipping rules, and automation tools.

Ensure data integrity, security, and smooth backend operations across all Shopify platforms.

Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, site crashes, and coding issues.

2. UI/UX Design & Store Optimization

Design and maintain high-converting product pages, collections, and landing pages.

Implement trust-building elements, CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) strategies, and A/B testing.

Improve the user journey, navigation experience, and mobile responsiveness.

Work with multimedia and graphic design teams to enhance website branding and UI animations.

Optimize Shopify sections and templates for faster load times and seamless browsing.

3. Shopify Store Operations & Product Listing Management

Upload and manage product listings, descriptions, pricing, and images.

Optimize product content with SEO-friendly descriptions, meta tags, and alt texts.

Set up and organize collections, categories, tags, and product filters.

Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure real-time syncing with suppliers.

Ensure all Shopify apps and automation tools function correctly to improve operations.

4. Performance Optimization & Technical Enhancements

Continuously monitor and enhance website speed, stability, and technical health.

Optimize scripts, images, fonts, and codes to ensure high page speed scores.

Implement lazy loading, caching, and other techniques for fast-loading pages.

Work on Shopify SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

Monitor and analyze Google Analytics, heatmaps, and conversion rates.

Generate reports on website performance, customer journey, and key KPIs.

Work closely with the marketing team to align store structure with ad campaigns.

Implement A/B testing for layouts, product pages, and checkout flows to improve conversions.

6. Collaboration & Team Management

Coordinate with the content writers, designers, and digital marketing team.

Ensure timely updates, product launches, and promotional activities on the website.

Conduct regular performance reviews, issue tracking, and website enhancements.

Assist in customer support by fixing technical issues affecting orders and checkout.

Requirements & Qualifications

Technical Skills

Expert knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.

Experience in custom Shopify theme development and store customization.

Strong understanding of Shopify APIs, automation tools, and back-end logic.

Experience with third-party apps, API integrations, and data automation.

Familiarity with UI/UX principles, Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.

SEO knowledge for product pages and blog optimization.

Ability to debug, optimize, and resolve complex Shopify issues.
