Quant Developer

We are seeking an experienced Quant Developer for our Mumbai location.

Experience: 2+ Years working at a Broker/Proprietary Trading Firm

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions to enhance trading systems, risk management frameworks, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders and quantitative analysts, to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and robust software designs.
• Implement and maintain high-performance, low-latency applications to support high-frequency trading strategies.
• Optimize software systems and algorithms to enhance execution efficiency and reduce latency.
• Contribute to the design and development of risk management systems to monitor and mitigate trading and operational risks.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential application in the hedge fund's software ecosystem.
• Document software designs, procedures, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, preferably in the finance industry or a high-performance computing environment.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Python, C++, Java, or similar languages.
• Prior experience using Symphony XTS API
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with low-latency, high-performance systems and parallel computing frameworks.
• Familiarity with financial markets, trading systems, and risk management concepts.
• Knowledge of database systems, data modelling, and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex software issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business needs.
• Experience with algorithmic trading systems, market data feeds, and order management systems.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, machine learning, or quantitative finance concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with version control systems, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
