Library Assistant - Walk-In

Job Title: Library Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the library, including book issuance and returns.
• Assist users in locating resources, both physical and digital.
• Maintain and organize the librarys collection and ensure that books and materials are properly shelved.
• Support the cataloging and indexing of new acquisitions.
• Provide general support in organizing library events and activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Library and Information Science (BLISc) from a recognized university. Preferably Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (MLISc).
• Knowledge of library operations and cataloging systems.
• Good communication skills and the ability to assist students and faculty.
• Detail-oriented and organized.

Compensation:

• The annual income package starts at ₹2.5 lakhs, based on qualifications and experience.
