Assistant Librarian - Walk-In

Job title: Assistant Librarian

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the library.
• Manage the librarys collection, including acquisition, cataloging, and classification of resources.
• Provide support to students and faculty in using library resources effectively.
• Assist in maintaining the digital library and e-resource databases.
• Organize library events, workshops, and training sessions.
• Ensure adherence to library policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Library and Information Science (MLISc) from a recognized university with minimum three years experience.
• Proven experience in library management, cataloging, and classification systems.
• Strong knowledge of library automation tools and digital resource management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of emerging trends in library technologies.

Compensation:

• The annual income package starts at ₹2.5 lakhs, based on qualifications and experience.
