The Partner Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of partnerships within an organization. This position is key to ensuring that partnerships are effectively executed, monitored, and optimized for mutual success
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership Operations: Lead the operational side of partner relationships to ensure successful collaboration and execution. Work closely with internal teams (e.g., IMU, SGU, Legal, Finance, Procurement, ISG, Marketing, Sales Acceleration) to align on partner goals and initiatives. Monitor partner performance and ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and KPIs.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between various teams to ensure alignment and clear communication on partner-related activities. Develop and implement strategies to scale partner operations effectively.
- Performance Management & Reporting: Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) for partner performance and success, ensuring both the organization and its partners meet mutually agreed-upon objectives. Create and deliver regular reports on partner performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Process Optimization & Efficiency: Identify, define, and improve operational processes related to partner management, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Use data and analytics to track performance and suggest improvements to enhance overall partner engagement and satisfaction.
- Partner Onboarding & Integration: Oversee the partner onboarding process, ensuring new partners are smoothly integrated into the organization's systems and workflows. Provide partners with training, tools, and resources to ensure their success.
- Competency & Skill Development: Analyze current partnership status and requirements to elevate to the next partnership tier. Collaborate with SGUs and IMUs to carve out a plan on how to fill the gap and elevate partnership tier.
- Solution Listing on Partners Marketplace: Collaborate with SGUs to identify solutions for listing on Partners Marketplace. Create SOPs and requirements for internal stakeholders for smooth functioning
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance the partner experience. Implement innovative ideas and initiatives that improve partner operations
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5-10 years of experience in partner operations.
- Experience working with global cloud providers.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Partner management experience.
- Strong project and program management skills
