Embedded Systems Engineer

About the Job

This full-time job is for an Embedded Systems Engineer to participate in Embedded Systems and Edge Computing Systems development for large UAV.

Required

Experience: 3 to 5 years.

Education

1.

BE, ME, in Electronics, Communications, Control Systems Engineering.

Skills

1.

Full understanding of embedded systems, processes, engineering life cycle.

2.

Embedded systems programming using ASM, C, C++.

3.

Experience:

a.

ARM based microprocessors, microcontrollers, different memory architectures.

b.

Bringing up boards,

c.

Writing device drivers.

d.

RTOS (like FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, VxWorks etc.)

e.

GPIO, A2D, D2A, signal conditioning, filtering.

f.

CAN, Serial, SPI, I2C, UART, USB protocols.

4.

Working knowledge of git, subversion.

5.

Knowledge of working with Ardupilot and PX4 is an advantage.

Characteristics we look for

You should have a strong embedded systems engineering foundation, be autonomous, be able to work with minimal or no guidance or with a team, understand system requirements, understand and manage cross functional concerns, be able to understand the product vision and realize it. You should be able to work with certifiable software and system standards. Familiarity with automotive or aviation certification standards is desirable. You should be a self-learner, take initiatives and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
