Sr. Research Scientist - Biomaterials

• Conduct research on biomaterials and cellular engineering targeted for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications and generate protocols for the same
• Participate in interdisciplinary research with colleagues and collaborators
• Conceptualize, plan, execute, analyse data and troubleshoot experiments
• Meet with vendors for raw materials and instruments procurement, functionalization, and with CROs for specialized services
• Landscape study for suitable bio-inks using different biopolymer combinations approaches
• Perform extensive physical, biological chemical characterization to obtain optimized product
• Assess suitability of biopolymers from different sources (modified by different manufacturers) by landscaping their combinations to obtain optimized formulation suitable for the desired application
• Technology transition for pre-clinical studies, data analysis, planning of the experiments troubleshooting via regular calls, video demonstration presentations
• Ensure availability of relevant instruments, materials, reagents, and other resources for the experiments
• Write scientific documents like manuscript, patent, grant proposals, etc.
• Represent the company s vision, team s ideas progress during investors visits and meetings with collaborators
• Prepare presentations for representing company in global platforms (Business plan competition conferences)

Required Skills / Experience

• PhD with relevant industry experience between 7 to 12 years
