Job Profile:

Role: Manager - Export Orienteered Unit (EOU)

Key Responsibilities:

Export Licensing and Procedures:

1. Knowledge of Export Licenses & Procedures:
• Understanding and managing different types of export licenses under Export Oriented Unit.
• Streamlining the export procedures to ensure smooth operations under Export Oriented Unit.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations under export-oriented units (EOUs).
2. Government Approvals:
• Handling and following up with SEEPZ officers for necessary approvals.
• Coordinating with various government departments (e.g., Customs, Excise, SEEPZ-SEZ) for obtaining required permissions and approvals for exports under EOU's.
• Routine follow-up with government offices to secure necessary approvals for submitted export-related jobs under EOUs.
3. Compliance with Relevant Regulations:
• Ensuring compliance with regulations, including customs laws, export controls, duty drawbacks, and environmental standards under Export Oriented Units.
• Managing the company's adherence to all local and international trade laws under EOUs.

Audits and Reporting:

1. Audit Handling:
• Coordinating and managing EOU audits, including customs revenue audits and Customs Receipt Audits (CRA).
• Overseeing the internal auditing process to ensure all export-related activities are in line with regulatory standards with EOUs.

Customs & Duty Management:

1. Customs Clearance:
• Handling customs clearance for both imports and exports, ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws.
• Managing customs duties, taxes, and other regulations related to the export/import process.
2. Duty Drawback and Tax Benefits:
• Managing duty drawback claims and ensuring all eligible tax benefits available to EOUs are correctly claimed.

Internal Coordination:

1. Cross-Department Coordination:
• Collaborating with internal departments such as production, finance, and logistics to ensure export operations are well-coordinated.
• Managing communication between internal teams and external government agencies or authorities.
2. Ongoing Communication:
• Handling internal communication and procedures to ensure smooth workflow within the company.
• Communicating with authorities and departments to handle any issues or approvals related to exports and duties.
