Job Summary :
- Play an integral role in the efficient operation of project core teams and working groups in work plans, monitoring project progress related to timelines, achieving successful operational execution of projects, identifying issues and orchestrating plans to resolve issues and mitigate risk.
- Ensures effective, accurate, and timely communication of project information to meet the needs of the stakeholders.
- Supports development of project level goals that contribute to the overall goals of the business and monitors progress against these goals.
- Ability to Influence and Motivate : Clarifies project deliverables/workload to enable colleagues to assess resource needs, raise gaps, and partner with team leadership to resolve.
- Drive information flow and serve as source of project information for key stakeholders.
- Define and negotiates specific project requirements (WBS, Schedules, Budget).
- Track progress and use innovative methods for making up for delays like parallel working, multitasking and multiskilling, outsourcing, working overtime, re-engineering the critical path, etc.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead programs and projects across functions in-alignment with business needs and strategy.
- Take full ownership to design, create and execute projects in collaboration with various teams.
- Facilitates team discussion and timely documentation of project risks and decision logs.
- Maintain roadmaps, project plans, reports and dashboards (e., incl.Requirements for budgeting).
- Hold regular alignment meetings with relevant stakeholders to meet project requirement in lowest cost, fastest speed, and highest quality.
- Ensure adherence to timelines as per requirements.
- Develop metrics to create require visibility to ensure deliverables are as per agreed timelines.
- Develop tools, technology, and process in order to constantly improve quality and productivity.
- Secure adherence to compliance procedures and internal / operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable regulatory standards.
- Keep track, prepare and submit periodic summaries, of ongoing projects.
- Collaborate and liaise with external partners.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacy or a related field.
- MBA will be an added advantage.
- Certified PMP will be preferred.
Experience :
- 8-12 years of experience in Project Management.
- Prior experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Technical Skills :
- Demonstrates good common sense and compassion.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to take initiative, work well under pressure and work with people from different functions.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated ability to convey critical and sensitive information in a highly professional manner.
