We are looking for a Senior WhatsApp Chatbot Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of AI-driven conversational experiences on the WhatsApp platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in chatbot development, natural language processing (NLP), and WhatsApp Business API integration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless, intelligent, and engaging chatbot interactions. Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy WhatsApp chatbots using WhatsApp Business API, Twilio, Dialogflow, Rasa, or other chatbot frameworks.
Integrate AI/ML-based Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Understanding (NLU) for human-like conversations.
Optimize chatbot performance, ensuring low latency, high accuracy, and smooth user interactions.
Develop custom message templates, interactive menus, quick replies, and rich media support for enhanced engagement.
Implement API integrations with CRMs, payment gateways, databases, and third-party services.
Design and execute A/B testing strategies to improve chatbot responses and user experience.
Monitor chatbot analytics, user interactions, and logs to identify and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with WhatsApp Business Policy, GDPR, and data security standards.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to align chatbot functionalities with business goals.
Stay up-to-date with the latest chatbot technologies, AI advancements, and WhatsApp API updates.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in chatbot development, with a focus on WhatsApp Business API.
Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or JavaScript for backend development.
Experience with chatbot platforms like Dialogflow, Rasa, Microsoft Bot Framework, or Amazon Lex.
Hands-on experience with NLP/NLU technologies such as Google Dialogflow, OpenAI GPT, or IBM Watson.
Proficiency in integrating chatbots with APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) .
Knowledge of Webhook development, OAuth authentication, and WebSocket communications .
Familiarity with Twilio, Vonage (Nexmo), 360Dialog, or other WhatsApp API providers .
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to optimize chatbot performance.
Experience in data analytics and chatbot monitoring tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Chatbase, or Botpress).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
