Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Architect to join our dynamic team for a custom greenfield development project. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the Quality Engineering (QE) strategy for a complex system. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas, extensive experience with modern testing tools, and a strong commitment to ensuring high-quality software delivery in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and define the overall Quality Engineering approach for a custom greenfield project.

Architect and implement automation frameworks for :

- React UI testing using Selenium or similar tools.

- GraphQL API testing with custom testing frameworks and automation tools.

- Load and performance testing using JMeter.

- Oversee test plans, test cases, and defect management via Azure DevOps (ADO).

- Drive test automation at all layers (UI, API, performance, database).

- Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met.

- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

- Monitor and report on all testing phases and identify areas for improvement.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices, improving QE processes.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a quality-first mindset within the team.

- Implement continuous testing within the CI/CD pipeline for fast, efficient, and reliable feedback.

- Proven experience as a QA Architect or Senior QA Engineer in complex, custom development projects.

- Strong expertise in React UI testing automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, etc.

- Proficiency in GraphQL API testing and designing automated test solutions.

- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.

- Expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing test plans, test cases, and reporting.

- Deep understanding of agile testing methodologies and adapting testing strategies to agile development environments.

- Hands-on experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure Pipelines).

- Familiarity with quality engineering principles such as shift-left testing, continuous testing, and in-sprint test automation.

- Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD) and CQRS patterns.

- Understanding of modern software architecture paradigms like microservices.

- Excellent problem-solving and innovation skills in complex testing scenarios.

- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple testing activities simultaneously.

- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration and driving quality initiatives.

- 13+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years in a QA Architect or lead role.
