Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Lead Engineer to oversee and enhance infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and deployment processes for various internal projects and client implementations. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, ensure reliability, and optimize the development-to-production lifecycle. This role demands a deep understanding of DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and strong leadership abilities to manage complex projects and requirements effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure Management & Automation :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using tools like Terraform.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

Containerization & Orchestration :

- Lead the containerization of microservices using Docker and manage deployment on Kubernetes.

- Optimize and troubleshoot containerized applications in production.

CI/CD Pipeline Development :

- Architect, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

- Ensure seamless integration, testing, and deployment workflows.

Build & Release Management :

- Oversee the build and release processes for software applications, ensuring quality and efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues promptly.

DevOps Practices & Leadership :

- Act as the primary point of contact for DevOps practices across teams, advocating for best practices.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

- Design and implement monitoring solutions to ensure uptime and performance.

- Drive resolution of incidents and issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Continuous Improvement :

- Identify recurring issues and implement process improvements.

- Optimize and enhance existing DevOps workflows, tools, and systems.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Technical Skills :

- Strong expertise in Linux/Unix administration.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (GCP/AWS preferred).

- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.

- Extensive experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).

- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and processes (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

- Knowledge of build tools (Maven, Gradle) and source code management systems (GitLab, Bitbucket).

- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).

Development & Agile Experience :

- Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Java, or Node.js.

- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices is a plus.

Leadership & Soft Skills :

- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams.

Certifications :

- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are highly preferred.

Education :

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Experience :

- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps roles.

- Demonstrated experience in building and deploying Java and Node.js applications.

- Hands-on experience in managing complex, distributed systems in a cloud environment.
