DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (5-8 yrs)

We are looking for an experienced and skilled DevOps Lead to take charge of our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and deployment processes for internal projects and client implementations. The role focuses on innovation, reliability, and optimizing the development-to-production lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in DevOps, cloud technologies, and strong leadership skills to manage complex projects and deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Infrastructure Management & Automation :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure using tools like Terraform.

- Automate provisioning and configuration management processes.

2. Containerization & Orchestration :

- Lead the containerization of microservices with Docker and manage their deployment on Kubernetes.

- Optimize and troubleshoot production-level containerized applications.

3. CI/CD Pipeline Development :

- Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

- Ensure seamless workflows for integration, testing, and deployment.

4. Build & Release Management :

- Oversee build and release processes, ensuring high quality and efficiency.

- Quickly troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.

5. DevOps Practices & Leadership :

- Be the primary advocate and point of contact for DevOps best practices across teams.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

6. Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

- Design and deploy monitoring solutions for ensuring uptime and performance.

- Drive resolution of incidents with detailed root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

7. Continuous Improvement :

- Identify recurring issues and implement innovative process improvements.

- Optimize workflows, tools, and systems to ensure peak efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (GCP/AWS preferred).

- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.

- Deep understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

- Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and source code management systems (GitLab, Bitbucket).

- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Development & Agile Knowledge :

- Solid grasp of Agile development methodologies.

- Hands-on programming or scripting experience in Python, Bash, Java, or Node.js.

- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices is an added advantage.

Leadership & Soft Skills :

- Proven ability to lead and mentor DevOps engineers.

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.

- Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Certifications (Preferred) :

- AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications.

Educational Background :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Preferred Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles.

- Proven expertise in building and deploying Java and Node.js applications.

- Hands-on experience managing distributed systems in cloud environments.
