Java Developer - Microservices Architecture (4-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Design and Development :

- Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable microservices using Java and related frameworks.

- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate services with third-party systems.

Microservices Architecture :

- Design distributed systems and ensure optimal communication between services.

- Ensure microservices are fault-tolerant, scalable, and high-performing.

Code Quality & Standards :

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers, to deliver features.

- Participate in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Performance and Optimization :

- Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth functionality.

- Optimize application performance for scalability and efficiency.

Testing :

- Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and other automated tests to ensure code reliability.

Key Skills & Requirements :

- Programming Languages : Proficiency in Java 8+ with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming.

- Frameworks : Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.

- Microservices : Strong expertise in building and managing microservices architecture.

- API Development : Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.

- Database : Knowledge of both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Cloud & DevOps : Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Messaging Systems : Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.

- Version Control : Proficiency in Git for version control.

- Testing : Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.

- Problem-solving : Strong analytical and debugging skills.
