Job Description
- Strong programming skills in ABAP for developing and optimizing extraction programs.
- Experience working with SAP BW extractors.
- Should have good knowledge on either of the data integration tools Like Theobald or HVR or Qlik Replicate
- Experience is enhancing the BW extractors with custom coding to support data extraction and migration
- Experience in developing data ingestion pipelines from SAP ECC to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Should have experience in migrating objects and data from SAP HANA to target cloud databases preferably AWS
- Should have experience in integrating multiple data sources via BODS / data integration tools from BW and HANA systems to data Lakes
- Identify the requirements, provide estimates, and categorize them whether to go as incremental or Managed change
- Expert is SAP best practice and standards to identify areas of improvement in the existing system and process
- Conducts a deep review of data and issues to quickly reveal the root cause of problem.
- Should have exposure to Cloud Data warehousing preferably AWS
- Knowledge of ETL tools like Databricks is a plus
