Sunovaa Tech - Senior SAP BW/4HANA Consultant - Support & Implementation (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement SAP BW/4HANA data models, including InfoCubes, DSOs, and Open ODS Views.

- Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using ABAP and AMDP.

- Build and maintain advanced DSOs, Composite Providers using LSA++, and implement performance optimization techniques.

- Develop and maintain BW Queries, including BEx Queries, WebI reports, and other reporting tools.

- Design and implement HANA data modeling views (Attribute, Analytics, Calculation views, and Analytics Privileges).

- Lead and participate in full lifecycle implementations of SAP BW/4HANA projects.

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing BW/4HANA systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and performance issues.

- Perform monthly release activities and ensure system stability.

- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

- Ensure timely and successful delivery of project deliverables.

- Strong understanding of SAP BW/4HANA architecture and functionalities.

- Hands-on experience with Native HANA implementation and support.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP BW Extractors and their functionality.

- Experience with data modeling techniques and best practices.

- Strong SQL scripting skills.

Domain Knowledge :

Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA business processes, and functional aspects in Sales, Billing, Finance, Controlling, Shipping, and Finance.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP BW/4HANA development and implementation.

- Hands-on experience with SAP BW4HANA, Native HANA implementation, and Support.

- Build and Understand Standard and custom SAP BW Extractors functionality.

- At least 3 end-to-end implementation experiences in BW and good exposure to handling AMS projects.

- Hands-on Experience in Understanding and Applying transformations using ABAP and AMDP, advanced DSOs, Composite Providers using LSA ++, and performance optimization concepts.

- Hands-on experience on BW Queries.

- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA data modeling views (Attribute, Analytics, Calculation views, and Analytics Privileges ).

- Hands-on experience in the collection of Transport Requests through the landscape.

- Hands-on Experience in fixing data load issues.

- Experience in Performance tuning and troubleshooting /Monthly Release activities as necessary.

- Knowledge of SAP S4HANA Business processes, and functional aspects in Sales, Billing, Finance, Controlling, Shipping, and Finance.

- Having SQL scripting knowledge is an add-on.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with SAP Data Services.

- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics).

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
