Data Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in Snowflake,

Redshift and AWS. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and

maintaining our data infrastructure and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate should have

a deep understanding of data engineering principles, expertise in Snowflake, and proficiency

in visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and

business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and translate them into

scalable data solutions

• Design and build data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load

data from various sources.

• Develop and maintain data models and schemas within Snowflake/Redshift to

support efficient querying and analysis.

• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing

processes.

• Optimize data pipelines and ETL processes for performance and scalability.

• Develop interactive and insightful dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power

BI.

• Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve data-related

issues.

Job Requirements:

• 4-6 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.

• Strong expertise in data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake or Redshift,

including schema design, SQL query writing, and performance optimization.

• Proficiency in data modeling and database design principles.

• Experience in developing data transformation scripts using Python, PySpark, and

SQL.

• Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or Apache

Airflow.

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

• Experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports.

• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.

• Mandatory experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure (ADF, Data Lake,

Databricks) or AWS (S3, Redshift, RDS, Glue).

• Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle and familiarity with

agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

• Experience with version control tools such as GIT or Bitbucket.

• Experience in working with REST APIs.
