Project Manager ( Plumbing and Fire Safety)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in plumbing and fire safety systems to oversee and manage the day-to-day site operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all plumbing and fire safety works are carried out efficiently, meet quality standards, and comply with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Project Supervision:

Oversee all plumbing and fire safety installation, repair, and maintenance activities on-site.

Monitor the execution of work as per approved designs, specifications, and timelines.

2) Team Management:

Supervise and coordinate with plumbers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.

Allocate tasks, track progress, and resolve on-site issues promptly.

3) Quality Assurance:

Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Conduct regular quality checks and provide feedback to the team.

4) Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all plumbing and fire safety works adhere to relevant local building codes and safety regulations.

Implement and enforce health and safety guidelines on-site.

5) Coordination:

Liaise with clients, contractors, and other departments to align on project goals and updates.

Attend site meetings to report progress and address concerns.

6) Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress, labor deployment, and material usage.

Prepare and submit site reports to the project manager as required.

Key Requirements:

1) Educational Qualification : Diploma/Certification in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering, or Fire Safety Systems.

2) Experience: Proven experience of 2 years in plumbing and fire safety systems, including installation, maintenance, and supervision.

3)Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of plumbing layouts, drainage systems, and fire suppression systems (e.g., sprinklers, hydrants). Familiarity with tools, equipment, and techniques specific to plumbing and fire safety works.

4) Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.

5) Others: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Willingness to work on-site and adapt to dynamic work environments.
