Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Commis Chef to join our dynamic team. As a Commis Chef, you will play an essential role in assisting with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food in both our Central Kitchen and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operations. Whether you are working in bulk food production or preparing fast-service meals for customers, your contribution will ensure that we maintain high standards of quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Assist with the preparation of ingredients and cooking in both large batches (Central Kitchen) and quick-service items (QSR).
• Consistency & Quality Control: Follow recipes and cooking guidelines to maintain the standardization of dishes across multiple outlets or locations.
• Work in High-Pressure Environments: Thrive in both fast-paced, high-volume production in a central kitchen and the dynamic, customer-facing environment of a QSR.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Ensure that the kitchen is clean, well-organized, and safe, adhering to hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
• Cooking & Plating: Assist with cooking, grilling, assembling, and plating food according to specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation.
• Teamwork: Work closely with chefs, kitchen staff, and managers to meet operational needs and timelines.
• Stock Management: Help with inventory management, keeping track of ingredients and supplies to ensure the kitchen is always fully stocked.
• Adaptability: Move between different kitchen sections (prep, grill, pastry) as needed, both in a central kitchen setting and within a QSR.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but not required. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their culinary career.
• Passion for Cooking: A genuine passion for food preparation and learning new skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in both a large-scale production kitchen and a fast-paced restaurant environment.
