Overall Job Purpose:
- The function has responsibility for the provision of Security Management services for people, premises and resources at client sites to ensure that security solutions are proportionate and fit with business objectives and risk.
- Responsible for overseeing and managing the transportation operations, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and safe movement of goods or employees. This role requires coordination with vendors, compliance with regulations, and effective communication with internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities & Objectives included:
Operational Security Management (80%)
- Contribute to the development of the Security Managers- security strategy and planning, implement subsequent direction across client businesses. Assist Security Manager in the safe delivery of their objectives.
- Good Knowledge In transport operation, Oversee daily transportation activities, including routing, scheduling, and dispatching
- Engage and coordinate for projects and provide security support at an early stage in order to provide the designated sites with best practise security options from the outset.
- Provide effective leadership, management and reporting of security incidents impacting the Strategic Sites to reduce business impact.
- Delivery of security training, security incident response education and exercises within the designated sites.
- Ensure that staff responsible for security within the Sites conform to training and awareness requirements and that any related security providers of the Building management within the designated sites meet required parameters, by coordination, testing and quality assurance.
- Ensure adherence to local transportation laws and company policies, Conduct regular vehicle and driver safety audits, Address and investigate transport-related incidents or complaints.
- Engage and ensure all security equipments are in working condition. Any defect / fault to be immediately lodged with Engineering team/ AMC vendor/ ISCR for timely closer. Such faults to be tracked on daily basis for early closer.
- Engage and ensure site security control room operations, printing of New ID Cards, Its stock/inventory, Loss & Found material, Incident Management and reporting, reply to daily operational related email on time etc.
- Provide Support during VIP movement, Events, visitor control and strict control on material movement at site.
- Good command over computer operations and basic MS Office functionality (Outlook, Emails, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
- Manage relationships with transport service providers and negotiate contracts. Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Trained and check the knowledge of team on various emergency response scenarios including security, natural disasters, manmade disasters etc.
Governance and conformance (20%)
- Ensure compliance and conformance with the Client’s security policy and Physical Security Standards across sites.
- Implement the PS governance and conformance requirements across the designated premises to ensure that control gaps are identified and addressed, and enable full compliance with client site policy and standards.
- Track and meet any security audit or control issue requirements involving their Sites and to pass assurance testing satisfactorily.
- Provide physical security data towards Key Risk Reporting and mitigation steps.
Qualifications /Education:
- Fluent in both spoken and written English (Versant grade 4), If possible local language Hindi.
- Strong IT desktop skills
- Related professional qualification
- Degree level education
- High pressure working environment e.g. call centre, military operations room
Experience required:
- Experience within large business, and interfacing with senior stakeholders if possible from IT or Banking sector.
- Experienced Security and Investigations Professional, ideally, with a Security Operations Experience of at least 5 years
- Knowledge of security standards and procedures
- Should have worked in similar function for at least 5 years
- Knowledge of current threat
- Relevant knowledge of counter terrorism and incident management
- CCTV, ACS, PA system handling experience Security in the banking sector

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and mother language
- Ability to learn new skills and acquire knowledge
- Ability to write clear compelling reports
- Ability to do multi-tasking and correctly priorities the jobs assigned
