About the Role:

This role is for a Mid – Senior backend Developer with DevOps (AWS cloud) experience and is suitable for someone who works well independently, collaborates effectively, and has extensive experience. We are looking for a natural leader who enjoys mentoring and training junior developers. You should feel comfortable taking charge, making decisions, and possess a creative mindset. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services
• Ensure that the software meets all the necessary requirements and is considered complete
• Provide feedback and raise concerns about the technical vision and target architecture when necessary
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success
• Assist with managing the sprint backlog and estimating the size of tasks
• Maintain code quality by implementing unit tests
• Strive to keep the environments stable and reliable

Required Experience:

• At least 4 years’ experience in backend development using Node JS.
• Should have experience in DevOps AWS/ AWS Marketplace.
• Should be good with basic JavaScript contents like hoisting, closure, event loops
• Strong proficiency in Express.js and Typescript
• Should have good knowledge in Mongo dB
• Should be able to work creating swaggers for all Api’s
• Must have a hands-on GIT repository cloning, branching and PRs
• Should be able to communicate in good English

Bonus Skills (but not a deal breaker):

• How API calls are implemented on client side
• Should have knowledge of writing automation tests cases using mocha
