Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Backend Developer with expertise in AWS microservices. The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable server-side applications while ensuring high performance, security, and efficiency.

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in Node.js backend development with TypeScript
• Expertise in microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, Cognito, S3, RDS, API Gateway, DMS) and serverless frameworks (AWS SAM or Serverless Framework)

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in JavaScript & TypeScript (ES6+)
• Experience in Node.js backend development
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design & implementation
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, Cognito, DMS)
• Expertise with serverless frameworks (AWS SAM, Serverless Framework)
• Expertise in Database management (Relational) & optimization skills (PostgreSQL)
• Expertise with Sequelize ORM & writing database scripts
• Expertise in microservices architecture
• Experience with message queues (SQS, Kafka)
• Strong problem-solving & debugging skills
• Effective communication & teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

1. Basic Knowledge in CI/CD pipeline setup & management (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
2. Basic Knowledge of security best practices (AWS IAM)
3. Basic Knowledgeable in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform)
4. Proficient in Unit testing framework (JEST)
