Job Description

Automation Test Engineer (5-7 Years) - InApp Automation Test Engineer (5-7 Years) Project Location(s): Trivandrum / Kochi, Kerala, India Experience: 5-7 years

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
Generate and maintain Allure Reports and use Pytest for automated test execution.
Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or custom Python scripts.
Perform manual testing to ensure software functionality, usability, and performance meet requirements.
Review and analyze requirement specifications to ensure clarity and comprehensive test coverage.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Conduct impact analysis to identify regression tests and assess the effects of software changes.
Work in Agile projects, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Communicate effectively with clients at senior leadership levels to discuss quality status, strategies, and updates.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience in both manual and automated testing.
Strong knowledge of Allure Reports and testing frameworks like Pytest.
Expertise in API testing using tools such as Postman or Python.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior-level client leadership.
Experience in working on Agile projects and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
Ability to perform impact analysis to ensure comprehensive regression testing.
Strong analytical skills to review and interpret requirement specifications.
