Purchase Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Purchase & Contract Manager to oversee procurement operations and manage contractual agreements efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with vendors, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. They must have strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase Management:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate pricing, and establish long-term vendor relationships.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments for procurement needs.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, budgets, and quality standards.

Rate Contract Management:

• Develop, implement, and manage rate contracts for frequently procured materials and services.
• Ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and reliable supply through effective contract negotiations.
• Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms and conditions.
• Periodically review and renew rate contracts based on market trends and business needs.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and align rate contracts accordingly.

Vendor Management & Negotiation:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for long-term contracts.
• Conduct price benchmarking and market analysis to secure the best rates.
• Negotiate terms related to pricing, payment, delivery, penalties, and quality assurance.
• Build strong supplier relationships for long-term collaboration.
• Address any vendor-related issues such as delays, quality concerns, or disputes.
