Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative WordPress Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web design, user experience (UX), and WordPress development. This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites that are visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities: - Design and implement visually engaging WordPress websites that meet client requirements.
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins as needed.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring they are optimized for speed, performance, and SEO.
- Optimize websites for mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate third-party tools and services with WordPress, such as CRM systems, email marketing tools, and payment gateways.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to implement on-page SEO best practices.
- Ensure websites are secure and backed up regularly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website design, performance, and functionality.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in web design and WordPress development.
- Proven experience designing and developing WordPress websites.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Proficiency with popular WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg).
- Experience working with custom themes and plugins.
- Knowledge of website performance optimization and SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Understanding of website security best practices.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A portfolio showcasing previous WordPress design and development work is required.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Sketch, Figma).
- Experience with website migrations or upgrades.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
