Installation Mechanic
Role Overview

Otis is growing and is looking for an installation mechanic for one of our entities located in India .Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely installing a portfolio of elevator / escalator units.
On a typical day you will:
Install new elevators with quality and efficiency
Work in a safe manner in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines.
Stay away overnight as and when required
Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship
Conduct inspection before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards
What you will need to be successful (adjust for local regulations)
As a qualified mechanic, it is essential that you have knowledge of elevator equipment and that you can apply elevator engineering principles to Installation.
You are qualified to install elevators to the standards set in your country
You hold a drivers license (as necessary)
You have at least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, ideally acquired in the assembly activity or at least experience on site and / or installation
You have good electrical and mechanical skills.
You are comfortable with plan reading and calculations.
You have an appetite for technical products and new technologies.
You appreciate manual trades as well as the satisfaction of seeing the finished work.

Job Description:
the candidate should be essentially from elevator background having experience in Installation of Elevators
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for Erection for Mod jobs.
- Capable to read and understand drawing.
- To ensure proper planning to start work and complete the same on time.
- To attend monthly TBT ( Tool Box Talk )
- Monthly planning about start up and adjustments of the jobs along with supervisors.
- To ensure site safety and quality at site during erection work.
- Reporting to Field supervisor day to day work plan and completion.
- making the lift ready for smooth adjustments on time with good quality work.
Education & Experience required
Diploma/BE in Engineering
3-6 years in handling installation in Elevator industry
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills
Assertive, Proactive, Result orientated and Self-starter
Desirable
Experience in Elevator industry.
