Orion - SAP IT Administrator (3-7 yrs)

As an SAP IT Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the SAP systems within the organization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of SAP software (BYD) and its related components.

Responsibilities :

- Basic knowledge of SAP systems, including SAP FICO, SCM and MM, PP modules.

- Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of SAP systems.

- Master data maintenance (Customer master/supplier master/Material master) Creation/ modification.

- Collaborate with end users /users training for any new implementation /changes in SAP.

- Plan and execute system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and system refreshes.

- Apply patches, updates, and service packs to SAP systems while ensuring minimal downtime.

- Create and maintain SOPs documentation, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.

- Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies, trends, and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.

- Support the configuration and customization of SAP modules to meet business requirements and enhance system functionality.

Experience - 3- 7 years

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an SAP executive or a similar role, with hands-on experience in SAP system administration and maintenance.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP system architecture, components, and integration points.

- Provide IT support to the team (hardware, network, other software, etc)

- Proficient in SAP administration tasks such as system installations, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Experience with SAP system monitoring tools and performance optimization techniques.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- SAP certification(s) in system administration or related areas would be a plus.
