Purchase Manager/Purchase

Purchase experience in ss and ms frabicated components, consumables, machine spares and Foundry raw materials. Able to do cost reduction and new vendor development. Experience in tally or erp.

Responsibilities:

Vendor Management:

• Identify and develop relationships with reliable suppliers of SS and MS fabricated components, consumables, machine spares, and foundry raw materials.
• Negotiate favorable terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Purchase Order Processing:
• Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials by tracking and monitoring purchase orders.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to purchase orders.

Cost Reduction:

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction through negotiation, supplier consolidation, and alternative sourcing.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives and track their impact.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.
• Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs.
• Implement inventory control systems to ensure accurate records and efficient management.

New Vendor Development:

• Research and identify potential new vendors to expand the supplier base.
• Conduct due diligence on new vendors to assess their capabilities and reliability.
• Onboard new vendors and establish effective communication channels.

ERP/Tally Usage:

• Utilize ERP or Tally software to manage procurement activities, track inventory, and generate reports.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
