Location:

Salem, Tamilnadu & Aizawl, Mizoram, India

Duration:

12months

Qualification:

• Graduate in Engineering of Medical Electronics or Electronics
• Good command of English, both written and verbal

Overall Professional Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the medical/health sector, with involvement in 2 projects
• Experience in medical equipment planning and/or procurement for at least 1 project
• Familiarity with Japanese ODA Loan Projects is an advantage
• Hands-on experience as a clinical engineer in health/medical care facilities

Role & Responsibilities: The responsibilities for the role are listed below:

1. Support in Equipment Selection and Procurement:
• Assist in selecting medical, educational, and furniture equipment based on clinical engineering knowledge
• Prepare initial drafts of equipment lists for procurement
2. Design and Planning Support:
• Assist in developing basic design plans for medical, educational, and furniture equipment
• Collaborate in drafting technical conditions for manufacturing, procurement, shipment, installation, and commissioning
3. Specifications and Review:
• Support in reviewing and refining equipment lists and preparing specifications
4. Supervision and Coordination:
• Monitor the progress of equipment installation work and assist in verifying the delivery process
• Provide support during supplier-led workshops and training sessions for MSSSCRC staff on equipment usage
5. Reporting:
• Contribute to preparing reports and deliverables under the guidance of the senior equipment planning expert
