Cluster Manager For Retail Jewelry

Job Description:

Orient Jewellers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales management. The role requires close collaboration with the regional and zonal managers, analytical decision-making, and effective coordination with various departments to drive sales growth and achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team to ensure achievement of sales targets and objectives. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance assessments for the sales team.
• Regional & Zonal Collaboration: Act as the key point of communication between regional managers, zonal managers, and the corporate team. Ensure alignment of sales strategies across all regions and zones.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market reach, optimize sales performance, and maximize profitability.
• MIS & Data Analysis: Collaborate with the MIS department to review sales data, trends, and reports. Use data to identify areas for improvement, forecast sales trends, and develop actionable insights.
• Cross-Department Communication: Communicate effectively with various department heads (marketing, production, logistics, etc.) to align sales activities with company-wide objectives and resolve any operational challenges.
• Sales Training & Development: Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to improve their product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
• Customer Relationship Management: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through strong relationship management and addressing customer concerns or issues in a timely manner.
• Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis: Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust strategies accordingly.
• Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews for senior management. Report on sales progress, trends, and any challenges.
• Future Planning & Expansion: Identify opportunities for future growth, new markets, and sales channels. Develop long-term plans to ensure sustainable business development.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales management within the jewelry or retail industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of sales professionals.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with sales data analysis and reporting (experience with MIS tools is an advantage).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to drive strategic initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of sales processes, market trends, and customer behavior.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of CRM software is a plus.
