Procurement process execution

• Drive material resource planning ensuring best practice purchasing in terms of quality, delivery time and efficiency
• Develop inventory plan for all the categories
• Develop PO status tracker for all the categories
• Place PO in a timely and effective manner
• Develop product testing and BOM validation formats for all the vendors
• Facilitate development of action plan for supplies as per sales requirements

Vendor management

• Coordinate with vendor for timely and adequate supply of goods
• Coordinate with Planning & Production team to develop purchase plan, plan inventory and PO placement
• Coordinate with Commodity team to ensure timely supply of commodities to vendors
• Coordinate with commodity and costing team to update the latest prices in SAP for PO placements
• Coordinate with Quality to share inputs with vendors on driving better product

Operational Metrics

• Responsiveness to sales requirements (Lead time of PO placement, communication to vendor etc)
• Adherence to latest negotiated prices for PO placement
• Minimization of sales and process disruptions due to unavailability of goods
• Lead time of goods delivery
• Putting in place structured process to track PO and goods status
• Ensuring coordination with Sales and Process teams to respond quickly and effectively to their requirements
