Trainee - Instrumentation

Position Summary:

As a Trainee QC Instrumentation, you will be trained to provide technical support in the testing and calibration of equipment used in quality control processes. You will be assisting the QC Instrumentation team in maintaining and ensuring the proper functioning of laboratory instruments and analytical equipment. The role will involve learning key procedures, developing skills, and gaining hands-on experience in calibration, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and validation of laboratory instruments (e.g., pH meters, HPLC, spectrophotometers, etc.).
• Support the QC team in performing regular checks and troubleshooting equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Learn to perform routine tests on instruments and interpret results in line with company standards.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of equipment qualification protocols and documentation.
• Support the preparation and review of calibration certificates, calibration logs, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines within the instrumentation lab.
• Participate in investigations related to equipment failures and deviations from quality standards.
• Assist in the setup and verification of new equipment and instrumentation.
• Help in the creation of technical reports and support in audit preparation activities.
• Work closely with senior QC and instrumentation staff to continuously improve quality control procedures.
