Position Title Region Head - North 2
Grade Director
Reports To : Sales Director, India & MD (Dotted Line)
Department : Sales
Location : Ludhiana / Chandigarh
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
- Formulating long term/ short term strategic plans, conducting negotiations & marketing operations thereby achieving increased sales growth across region.
- Overseeing the plant operations and the P&L (Top Line & Bottom Line) of the region.
- Overseeing and managing cross functional team members.
- Responsible for building culture & processes to ensure the success of the region.
- Steering operations with a view to achieve organizational objectives and ensure profitability.
- Networking with financially strong & reliable channel partners, resulting in deeper market penetration & reach
- Exploring new markets for promoting products and conducting competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends & competitors to achieve market share metrics.
- Reviewing & interpreting the competition & market information to fine-tune the marketing strategies
- Driving sales initiatives and achieving desired targets with overall responsibility of Return on Investment (ROI)
- Conceptualizing & implementing the sales promotional activities as part of brand building
- Recruiting, mentoring, training & coaching personnel of the sales team for ensuring optimum performance to deliver quality services.
- Negotiate Value to understand the value of the brand and leverage that in building long term business partnership that deliver sustainable profitable growth.
- Structured Selling to strengthen the approach which includes adhering to business process and translating them into successful sales propositions.
- Stakeholder Engagement to identify and engage with key individuals both internal & external, to achieve a profitable outcome.
- Strategic execution of sales strategies while being accountable to deliver results.
- Exploring new business avenues as per the changing market dynamics.
- Exploring new delivery focused opportunities, the ride the wave.
- Area specific activation plans across the region to resonate with the local preferences.
- Long Term Vision Development for sustainable and profitable business progression.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education / Certification: Master's in business administration.
Experience: 15+ yrs of relevant work experience in dealer & distribution management, people management skills etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
- Possess good English communication skills (both written and oral).
- Demonstrate good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead by influencing with a facilitative style of management demonstrating behaviors consistent with - values.
