To ensure local statutory and tax compliance for the legal entities including but not limited to Statutory Audits, tax and local compliances, Balance sheet and Profit loss GL Reconciliations, Internal controls.
Ensure to follow timely month end close process in line with LSEG s global reporting timetable, reviewing and making sure critical GL accounts are reconciled to underlying documentation, transactions are accounted accurately in line with ORBCOMM s accounting policies and local accounting policies.
Work with various business partners to ensure legal entities are accurately, completely and timely accounted for in the enterprise systems, as well as to ensure good controls and underlying processes are in place.
Analysis of all Balance Sheet and profit loss accounts on periodic basis.
Liaise with auditors on Statutory audit.
Analysis of Quarter on quarter or year on year variances and presenting meaningful observations.
In conjunction with the Tax Department completion of tax packs, booking of tax provisions and monitoring tax accounts movements.
In conjunction with the Transfer Pricing Department review the quarterly calculation for Group books and also perform the true up Calculation for local books.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Accounting Graduates having core prior experience in the specific areas
MBA preferred
Graduates - 5 to 10 years of experience in Finance and accounting function.
Strong accounting background as well as a good understanding of IFRS and GAAP.
Experience of having participated in Audits of Large to Medium Scale organizations preferable.
Understanding of tax & statutory compliance requirements.
Efficient work ethics with proven track record and ability to meet deadlines.
Clear and effective communication & interpersonal skills.
