Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable pre-sales consultant to join our EdTech team. The pre-sales consultant will work closely with the sales, product, and technical teams to provide expert knowledge and consultation during the sales process. Your primary role will be to identify customer needs, demonstrate how our solutions can address those needs, and ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Product Demonstration : Lead engaging and informative product demonstrations tailored to the needs of educational institutions and corporate clients.
- Solution Consultation : Collaborate with potential clients to understand their business and educational challenges and present tailored solutions.
- Customer Needs Analysis : Conduct detailed needs analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in the client's current educational technology infrastructure.
- RFP/RFI Response : Assist in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information), including preparing detailed and customized proposals.
- Sales Support : Work with the sales team to develop strategies that enhance the customer experience and drive deal closure.
- Technical Expertise : Provide in-depth product knowledge and technical insight to both clients and internal teams, ensuring alignment of solution capabilities with client requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Teams : Work closely with product development and marketing teams to stay informed about new features, updates, and industry trends.
- Workshops and Training : Conduct product workshops, training sessions, and webinars to educate clients and prospects on the benefits of the technology.
- Market Research : Stay updated with the latest trends in education technology and share insights with the team to enhance product offerings.
Key Skills :
- Strong understanding of the education technology landscape and its key challenges.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with SaaS-based solutions, cloud technologies, or enterprise software is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Comfort with public speaking and conducting workshops or training sessions.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in education, information technology, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales or a similar customer-facing role, ideally in the EdTech industry.
- Experience working with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and proposal tools.
- Knowledge of education systems and learning management systems (LMS) is highly desirable.
