Payroll Manager APAC

about the role

• Manage Payroll Operations of multiple entities in the region; ensure accurate and timely disbursements to employees.
• Ensure compliances with company policy, applicable tax laws and statutory requirements for each of the payroll entities. Stay abreast of changes and drive change implementation.
• Work in effective collaboration with HR and Payroll providers for seamless payroll processing and resolution of issues.
• Manage and provide guidance to outsourced payroll support staff.
• Payroll Accounting, Reconciliations and Audits.
• Enforce internal controls and sox compliance defined by Group Finance.
• Payroll Reporting Analytics.
• Drive/ Engage in associated Finance and HR Projects.

• Graduation/ Post Graduation in Commerce. Professional qualification like CA/ MBA Finance shall be an added advantage.
• 10+ years of total experience with 5+ years of experience in managing Payroll, preferably in global/ multi-country payroll environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles, practices and regulations.
• Finance systems understanding and experience (Oracle/SAP)
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to details.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
• Excellent communication skills to develop strong internal partnerships and work effectively across the business in a multi-national environment.
