System Cloud Test Engineer : Python

Senior Test Development and Automation Engineer, working on developing Test Plans, Test Cases and End to End automation for the fully managed, rack-scale distributed cloud platform that lets you use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Compute anywhere.

Design, develop Test Plans and Test Cases for System Test (customer like Complex Environments). Automate them end to end. File issues, debug them and provide bug reports of great quality which would enhance the overall quality and performance of the product line. Troubleshoot issues and build complex test beds for Oracle Virtualization, Storage ( ZFS - Zeta byte file system) , Oracle Private Cloud Appliance", "Oracle Private Cloud at Customer" . The Oracle Could at Customer and Private cloud appliance is an integrated infrastructure system engineered to enable rapid deployment of converged compute, network, and storage technologies for hosting applications or workloads on a guest OS. Engineer needs to have a good grasp of OVN/OVS, Linux, Kubernetes, File and Block Storage and features like Disaster recovery, Replication, Compute, networks .
As a member of the software engineering division, you will provide technical leadership to other software developers, collaborate with remote teams, working on new releases and new features. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. BE or BTech degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4+ years of software engineering or related experience.

Build customer like setup involving the full software stack including compute, platform, virtual OVN/OVS setup, switches, applications and workloads. Build test matrix for the expanded combinations of the various supported permutations that can emulate the customer like configurations and design the workloads tailored to run customer setup to simulate the customer environment. Ability to work across multiple projects and contribute to various product lines
