Key skills for the job
As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing/enhancing test/integration framework, debugging or designing software test applications or operating systems according to provided feature specifications.
Career Level - IC1
Ideal candidates should have,
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with hands-on experience in the design and automation of enterprise applications.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent area.
- Excellent analytic, problem-solving, oral and written communication skills with the ability to thrive in a high performance team
- Domain experience in telecommunications protocols, such as SS7 CAMEL, MAP, and IP protocols such as Diameter.
- Design, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
- Unix admin and user skill level e.g. Writing simple to complex bash shell script to run tests
- SQL query construction e.g. To get results of test out of a database table
- Seagull or other command line tool use in telco protocol testing
- Testing of SS7 or diameter protocol products, e.g. CAMEL, MAP, DIAMETER
- Automation test writing in native script languages (python, ruby)
- Knowledge of software development Agile methodology, build tools and product life cycle
- Domain experience in the Telecom billing/Mediation, 5G is a plus
