Job Description

Interested in solving complex networking problems within the constraints of a cloud networking environmentOracle SaaS "Spectra" Platform Engineering is hiring for roles focused on solving the engineering problems surrounding the intra and inter networking required for managing 10s of thousands of Oracle Kubernetes Engine clusters.

Oracle SaaS "Spectra" Platform (OSSP) is a managed platform abstracting the complexities of K8s and OCI away from internal Oracle SaaS teams looking to migrate and develop services on to container native environments.

Experience with Linux, Cloud, and Kubernetes networking required. (iptables, VCNs, VCN peering, Subnetting, Service Meshs, CNIs, etc).

Experience with low level networking protocols desired (TCP/IP, TLS)

Experience with Istio, Oracle Cloud, Traefik, Linkerd,

Position includes developing the automation to deploy designed networking systems, as such experience with Terraform and Helm, or similar analogs, is beneficial.

Career Level - IC5

As a Software Developer on the Foundational Environment Services team you will be responsible for designing and implementing the deployment process and architecture for large multi-cluster k8s environments.

Additionally at this career level youre be expected to provide mentorship and guidance to less senior members of the team, and work closely with management on the future networking architecture of the platform.
