The Tax PMO Shared Services support function for the Non-Income-Based Tax (NIBT) team plays a crucial role in supporting compliance and audit efforts within Oracles Tax organization.
Our primary responsibility is to assist in managing and streamlining processes related to tax compliance, ensuring that businesses and individuals adhere to NIBT regulations.
This includes providing documental and administrative support to NIBT team experts, facilitating communication between compliance and audit teams, and maintaining up-to-date records of tax filings and submissions.
By supporting the efficient flow of information, the Shared Services team enables audit and compliance teams to access necessary data quickly, which accelerates audit timelines and improves overall efficiency.
In this goal, we need experienced and talented individual contributors to join PMO Shared Services team who will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with US federal and state NIBT regulations.
In terms of audit support, this Shared Services Resource will help coordinate the logistical aspects of audit operations.
This involves gathering and organizing financial records, tax reports, and other relevant documentation needed for audits.
The candidate will assist audit teams in identifying discrepancies and ensure that all required materials are available for a thorough review.
The Shared Services resource may also be tasked with managing audit schedules, tracking the progress of ongoing audits, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
This role in providing administrative support allows audit professionals to focus on detailed analysis and compliance enforcement, enhancing the accuracy and effectiveness of audits.
The resource will assist in ensuring that all necessary tax filings, returns, and other documentation are submitted on time and in the correct format.
By supporting the compliance team with data entry, recordkeeping, and reporting, this resource will help reduce the risk of non-compliance and potential penalties.
This role also includes assisting with the resolution of tax discrepancies or issues identified during audits, collaborating with tax experts, and ensuring that corrective actions are taken in a timely manner.
This ongoing support is vital for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of NIBT processes.
Handling US Non-Income Based (Indirect) Tax Compliances, Sales Use Tax.
File and Pay each Return before its due date.
Prepare drafts proofs for check list purposes.
Review and file accurate and timely sales and use tax returns, ensuring adherence to all applicable deadlines.
Ensure timely closure of month-end activities including schedules for taxes payable, receivable at Group level.
Preparation of Monthly Compliance calendar.
Prepare Reconciliation for different business to keep the controls and process smooth.
Prepare Debit payment Journal entries for multiple business.
Prepare Tax Adjustment tracker every month to determine Tax Adjustment details.
Pull Data every month for Intercompany transactions different Sub ledger Accounts.
Which majorly help team on General Ledger Trial Balances to prepare reports with deadlines.
