Consulting Practice Director-Core Banking

 About The Role : 

This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given practice that can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice:people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice.

Good Knowledge in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, SOAP and REST based Webservices

Knowledge of Java Script, HTML

Knowledge of Junit, JMeter, Eclipse, GIT, Jira, Ant, Unix Shell scripting

Exposure to Application servers- WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss

Exposure to middleware concepts- JMS, MQ, OSB

Exposure to Security concepts- PKI, SSO, SAML

Good Knowledge of Config, Design & Dev.

Sound knowledge on SDLC - Water-fall and Agile Models

Experience in Design / Code reviews

Experience in Product Implementation and Support.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Experience in FLEXCUBE or other similar enterprise core-banking systems in similar role is a significant value add.

Degree educated in a field relevant to Oracles business

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail

Domain appreciation, Business acumen and analytical skills

Ability to engage with a customer at all levels

Ability to work independently when required, with a strong team approach

A strong interest and aptitude for new trends in Information Technology incl. AI/ML/NLP/RPA

 Responsibilities 

Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability. Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business objectives. Accountable for managing and growing a significant revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages multiple first line managers and/or senior level individual contributors. Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements.
