Senior Software Developer

For a complex and extremely widely used product like Oracle Database, it is a serious but fun filled challenge to foresee customer expectations, simulate real life problems, develop tests, test infrastructure/frameworks to ensure that customers get the highest quality database.
At the Database test development group, head quartered at the U.S. (and expanding in Bangalore), engineers from top tier schools are facing this challenge every day.

B.Tech/M.Tech C.S. from a premier institution
Candidates with good relational database fundamentals.
Experience with Oracle or any high end relational databases as application developer (server side) is desirable
At least 3-4 years of working experience on Linux/Unix based systems (Solaris / HPUX / AIX)
Programming experience with languages like Python C / JAVA , SQL and PL/SQL.
Good experience in Perl, shell or a similar scripting language.
Experience as Oracle DBA is desirable
Experience/Exposure to product testing
Exposure to latest (19c) Oracle database features is desirable
Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies, adeptness in seeking solutions to complex problems.
Experience in Cloud Technologies(OCI/AWS,Azure/GCP) would add value

You will work with highly motivated and enthusiastic engineers who have in-depth database administration and data center level end-to-end work flow experience and develop test frameworks and tools to test Oracle Database Cloud from all aspects, Provisioning, Migration, Life Cycle Management, Networking, and Security. You will also get opportunity to have customer interaction and engagement.
