Job Description
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Java software development, including a strong grasp of microservices frameworks such as Helidon or Dropwizard etc.
- Proficiency in containerization tools, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and building scalable, distributed applications.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI etc.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git or BitBucket.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications using best practices in object-oriented programming and software architecture.
- Containerize Java applications using Docker and ensure smooth deployment and scaling with Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless integration with container orchestration platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality and efficient code.
- Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot applications in containerized environments, addressing performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in Java, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
