Job Description
We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Fusion CX Sales team
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our Fusion Apps integration processes, and maintaining our architecture
As a key member of the team, you will assist in designing, configuring, and deploying Fusion Apps, while also managing source code and branching/merging processes
We work in a fast-paced, agile environment, and your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 2-5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, demonstrating a strong understanding of software development and deployment
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Perl, Shell scripting, Python)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) and source control management (Git)
- Knowledge of cloud native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Working experience with SQL, PL/SQL
- Experience in consuming REST APIs
- A good grasp of cloud and web application architectures, as well as modern Cloud Services
- Oracle DB APEX experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Weblogic server and Java is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Adaptability to a fast-paced, agile work environment
- Managing the Fusion Apps environment, including maintenance and support of hybrid components
- Applying patches and managing upgrades
- Tracking and resolving technical issues with the development team
- Developing and maintaining automated operational tools using APEX, Jenkins pipelines, and scripting languages
- Enhancing existing processes to ensure efficient deployments
- Fusion Apps environment maintenance and supported hybrid components
- Build and Deploy patches on these envs
- Tracking upgrade / update / long running issues with development
- Develop tools to help automate various operational tasks
- Maintain and enhance existing tools (tools developed in APEX, Jenkins groovy pipelines, perl / shell script
