Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Programmer + Operator for our Haas VF2 Milling Machine to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining the Haas VF2 CNC milling machine to produce precision parts. The successful candidate must have hands-on experience with Haas machines, possess strong programming skills, and have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to ensure the efficiency and quality of production.
Key Responsibilities:

1. CNC Programming & Setup:
• Write and modify CNC programs using G-code, Mastercam, or other relevant software for the Haas VF2 Milling Machine.
• Set up the Haas VF2 machine, ensuring proper installation of tooling, fixturing, and material.
• Ensure all programs are properly documented and stored for future use.

1. Machine Operation:
• Operate the Haas VF2 Milling Machine to produce parts according to specifications, ensuring parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and ensure smooth operation during production.
• Perform regular inspections of finished products using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.

1. Quality Control:
• Inspect and verify that parts meet required quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine or process issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain a high level of precision and attention to detail while producing parts.

1. Maintenance:
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the Haas VF2 Milling Machine to ensure optimal functionality.
• Report any mechanical issues, malfunctions, or needed repairs to maintenance personnel.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.

1. Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production schedules, issues, and improvements.
• Assist in the training of new operators or staff on machine operation and safety protocols.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer and Operator with a focus on Haas VF2 Milling Machine (minimum of 2-3 years preferred).
• Proficiency in CNC programming, toolpath generation, and machine setup.
• Experience using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion 360) to create CNC programs.

• Technical Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of G-code programming, CNC controls, and machine setup.
• In-depth knowledge of the Haas VF2 Milling Machine and its functions, including tool change, spindle speeds, and cutting parameters.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programming, setup, and machine operation.

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in CNC programming or related fields are a plus.

• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials or parts (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working in a factory setting with noise and machinery.
